The best community sporting clubs and volunteers from New South Wales were celebrated at the national Good Sports Awards at Parliament House in Canberra last week, for their contributions to sport in their community including Junee TaeKwonDo-SEAT winning the NSW Community Sports Award.
The winners were recognised for their commitment to building healthy and family-friendly club environments and their work with the Alcohol and Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program in tackling topics like alcohol, illicit drugs, smoking, mental health and safe transport.
The 2022 Good Sports Award winners from New South Wales are: 2022 National Good Sports Safe Transport Award – Winner: Forest Rangers Football Club 2022 National Good Sports Community Club Award – Winner: Junee Taekwondo – SEAT 2022 NSW Good Sports Club of the Year–Winner: Manly United Football Club/Runner-up: Careel Bay Tennis Club
