An accident caused spinal injury to Samantha Longmore after she suffered two consecutive car accidents in 2013, one in the ambulance taking her from the previous accident, has been a story that has made its way around the region with many helping out.
Junee Show ’N’ Shine is the most recent to lend a helping hand, putting on a motor vehicle bonanza at the Junee Showgrounds on April 30, where profits will go to Sam as she heads to represent our country.
The funds will be going towards Samantha Longmore and the Disabled Water Ski Team of Australia to compete at the World’s Championship in California in September 2023.
The entry is a gold coin donation and entry for those wishing to participate for a prize is $10 for 1 category, $5 for additional categories.
The categories are: Best classic vehicle- 1930-1950, 1950-1970, 1970-1990. Best modern post 1990, Best American, Best Japanese/European, Best commercial/agriculture, Best hot rod, Best vintage pre-1930, Best Aussie, Best 6 cylinder, Best 8 cylinder, Best motorcycle pre-1980, Best motorcycle post-1980, People’s choice award, Best original, Best interior, Best engine bay, Best 4 cylinder/rotary and Best ute/van.
