Kadison Hofert has re-signed as the Marrar Bombers A Grade Coach for 2025 season, after a successful year in 2024. She took out best and fairest last year as well, making her a fantastic pick for the new season.
In an interview with the Junee Independent, Kadison said, “we started preseason in mid-January and we have got a few new recruits, which is super exciting and we have also started playing in the Wagga Premier League preseason games and we are two games in and everything is positive.

“This year with our new recruits, our attack is going to be really strong. Early in the season is making sure we get to know each other and how we ll work so we can cooperate on the court. That is the biggest thing and then from there put all our game plan together and hopefully continue to win throughout the season.
“The season starts on March 29, but we have the bye, so we start on April 5. I would have liked to have started the first round and I usually like having the bye at the end of the season, especially if you have finals because you have that rest.

“This way it will be in the middle of the year, but I don’t think it will be too bad, we will already have nearly eight games in before the season starts and that is a big advantage.
“Everyone is super excited to be back on the court and playing. It’s been really good, we’ve had really competitive trials, so four weeks of trials which has been really good and we have a netball program coming up on Saturday and everyone is keen to get back into it.

“I coached A Grade last year and I’ve got Bridie Willis coaching with me this year. Coaching last year gave me a bit more perspective on how the game works and to become a smarter player.
“To just bring that into the game this year and bouncing ideas off Bridie as she has been away for a couple of years playing in a different league and she will bring a new perspective which will be nice to have someone there alongside me to make those decisions with her experience.

“I think we will be more competitive this year and it will be nice for us to challenge all the other teams.”
Training for the girls is on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.
