The new Croquet carts built by the Junee Men’s Shed for the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Hit & Giggle Social Croquet Club.
The Junee Ex-Services Memorial Hit & Giggle Social Croquet Club would like to sincerely thank the Junee Men’s Shed for their generosity, hard work, and community spirit in building their new croquet carts.
During the construction of the 3 (three) new Croquet Carts, the Junee Men’s Shed also repaired some of the Croquet Mallets that were generously donated by the Junee Community Centre to the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club to ensure the continuance of the social outlet group that now call themselves the Hit & Giggle Social Croquet Club.
The Junee Community Centre kicked off the social croquet program a few years ago and without funding for 2026 the program was at risk of folding. With the coordination between the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club and the Junee Community Centre this program was able to continue for a fantastic group of people who thoroughly enjoy the social outing with a great group of like-minded people for a Hit & Giggle.
This project highlights the strong sense of cooperation and friendship within our community.
The Donation, the repairs and the construction of the carts are more than just practical equipment — they are a wonderful example of people coming together in the community to support one another. The men and women of the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Hit & Giggle Social Croquet Club are incredibly grateful for the donation and the time, care, and craftsmanship shown by both the Junee Men’s Shed and the Junee Community Centre.
The newly built carts will help make transporting equipment and setting up for events easier and more efficient for Members and social guests of the Hit & Giggle Social Club.
The Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club also acknowledged the positive relationships and ongoing support shared between the three groups.
Projects like this show the strength of our community and the value of volunteering. We thank the Junee Men’s Shed for their kindness and willingness to help.

We invite all Members and Guests to come in and have a roll up with friends on a day of choice or join in with the Social Hit & Giggle Croquet Club 10am each Wednesday Morning, if the weather is not ideal, the Social Hit & Giggle Croquet Club change it up for those mornings and test out the Dart Boards and their surroundings, a great social group, a fantastic community.
