At the recent (JEMC) Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club AGM, held on Wednesday, 6 May, members proudly voted to officially award the 24th Life Membership to Mr Paul Armour in recognition of his outstanding contribution, commitment, and many years of voluntary service to both the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club and the wider Junee Shire Community.
The motion was unanimously supported by Members present, reflecting the high regard and appreciation held for Mr Armour throughout the Junee Community. Over many years, Paul a Junee RFS founding member, has also generously dedicated his time and effort to supporting Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club activities, assisting with the Bowling greens, equipment repairs and maintenance for our Junee Ex-Services Memorial Ladies Bowling Club and Social Croquet Club.
Paul also coordinates the Clubs weekly social bowls events; his ongoing involvement and willingness to volunteer have played an important role in the growth and success of these club facilities.
Following the official vote, the Life Membership badge was formally presented to Mr Paul Armour by special invited guest Mr Michael Jackson, incoming General Manager of Junee Shire Council.
The presentation marked a significant and memorable moment during the meeting, with members acknowledging both the honour being bestowed and the valuable contributions Mr Armour has made over many years.
The Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club congratulates Mr Paul Armour on receiving this well-deserved recognition and sincerely thanks him for his continued dedication, service, and commitment to both the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club and the greater Junee Shire.
