The Junee Jaguars are now well on their way to victory as the finals come into view.
With seven wins, one draw, one bye and six losses from their recent match, coach Karen Fish says they’re holding the fort well, particularly after their successful Old Boys and Old Girls Day.
“It was wonderful to see past and present players, families and supporters coming together to celebrate the history and community that makes the Junee Jaguars so special,” she says.
“To everyone who played, cheered from the sidelines, visited the canteen and stayed for the after party, thank you for helping make the day such a success.
“We hope everyone had a great day catching up with old friends, making new memories, and celebrating the Jaguar spirit.”
The Jaguars also celebrated two milestone games. Carl Baldry celebrated his 350th game and Scott Mutimer played his 300th.
“As a club member who has done it all, President, Committee Member, Coach, supporter and Player we are so lucky to have your dedication and passion as part of our club!” says Karen.
“Like Carl, Scott has played for the Jaguars since he was a kid, served on the Committee in multiple roles including President and is the major organiser of our Old Boy and Old Girls Day.
“Without people like Carl and Scott volunteering their time and effort, our club would not be what it is today and we are so proud of the two of you!”

• 2nd Grade Ladies – Won 7 to 0 against Cootamundra
• 3rd Grade Men – Won 5 to 0 against Charles Sturt
• 4th Grade Men – Won 1 to 0 against South Wagga
• Under 14s – Won 1 to 0 against Tolland
• Under 12s – Lost 9 to 0 against Lake Albert
• Under 10s – Lost 7 to 0 against Lake Albert
• Under 9s Blue – Lost 5 to 0 against Wagga United
• Under 9s Yellow – Won 6 to 0 against Henwood Park
• Under 8s – Lost 10 to 0 against South Wagga
• Under 7s Blue – Lost to Tolland
• Under 7s Yellow – Lost to Junee Grey
• Under 7s Grey – Won against Junee Yellow
• Under 6s Blue – Draw against Henwood Park
• Under 6s Yellow – Won against Lake Albert
• Under 5s – Bye
