Junee Shire Council are seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced tenders for the design, supply and installation of equipment at the Junee Recreation and Aquatic Centre. The applications close Thursday, 30th October at 4.00 pm.
The tender surrounds two scopes of work, with them being:
Scope of Works 1- Design, supply and installation of:
99kW roof-mounted solar PV system
90kWh (usable) battery capacity
80kW AC output inverter capacity
250A MCCB at MSBDistribution board (PV-DB) with 160A MCCB provision.
Scope of Works 2-Supply and installation of:
90kW DC dual port EV charging station
Council said the system is to be installed, commissioned and fully operational by 7th October 2026.
Council said the Contractor is to: “Review the documents set out in this tender, including two scopes of work and prepare a quotation to address these specifications.
“Provide a complete solar PV, battery system and EV charging system, including the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the system and establishing a public charge management system.
“Prepare all documentation and submit applications to Essential Energy for connection approval and claim STCs on Junee Shire Council’s behalf.
“Provide relevant case studies or example solutions that have been delivered that demonstrate their capability to meet these objectives and functional requirements of the project.
“Council said successful contractors will be required to provide and follow a comprehensive WH&S and Risk Management system, adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation, plus hold and maintain suitable Public Liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance, and all other relevant insurances as detailed in the tender documentation.
